PROGRAMME OVERVIEW
Finance has an important role to play in any area of decision making. However, this is a fact that many managers responsible for decision making are often puzzled while they deal with financial numbers. Therefore, a comprehensive understanding of finance would improve the functional as well as general managerial capabilities of managers and that in turn would improve the efficacy of decision making. It is also important that apart from the traditional accounting and corporate finance concepts, understanding of capital markets, money markets and derivatives are also equally important for managers as they work in a more dynamic world. Against this background, the current programme is a serious attempt to underline and impart the essential knowledge of finance to non-finance professionals in order to help support their growth to more effective and efficient managers.
