Invitation for comments on Draft Energy Conservation & Energy Efficiency Policy 2023-28

The Andhra Pradesh State Energy Conservation Mission (APSECM) is pleased to announce the Draft Energy Conservation & Energy Efficiency Policy 2023-28 for the State of Andhra Pradesh, developed in collaboration with the Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI). We invite all stakeholders to provide their valuable comments and feedback on the draft policy.

During the 11th executive committee meeting of APSECM, chaired by the Chief Secretary to the Government of Andhra Pradesh, it was unanimously agreed to release the draft energy efficiency policy in the public domain. With the support of the Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI), Hyderabad, we aim to gather inputs from various stakeholders and incorporate their suggestions to ensure an effective Energy Conservation and Energy Efficiency Policy.

We recognize the importance of inclusive decision-making and believe that involving all stakeholders will lead to a well-rounded and comprehensive policy framework. Therefore, we encourage participation from government agencies, industry representatives, non-governmental organizations, energy experts, researchers, and concerned citizens.

To ensure adequate time for reviewing and providing comments, we kindly request all stakeholders to submit their feedback on the draft policy by June 1, 2023. Your valuable insights and suggestions will assist the Government of Andhra Pradesh in formulating a robust Energy Conservation and Energy Efficiency Policy, addressing the unique challenges and opportunities of our state.
